Seven Vagant Songs
Opus 58 - 1995/96 - Marc van Delft

For male choir, wind orchestra, and alto solo / mezzo-soprano solo
(& ad libitum female choir)
=============================
Opus 58 is composed in a Neo-Medieval or Neo-Gothic style, much like Orff's Carmina Burana.
=============================
Content information about the work can be found in the preface to the score.
==========================
The text of the 7 Vaganten songs is taken from 7 poems from the well-known ‘Carmina Burana’, about the life of the poor medieval students, their wild and rebellious life full of misery, poverty and drinking etc.

Since Sonolize can only process scores up to 15 MB, I was forced to download the score to Sonolize in poor quality.

I also have a better quality score that I've edited, cleaned up, and improved, but it's 66 MB. Therefore, I couldn't import it into Sonolize.

Conductors who would like this cleaner version can contact me and have it sent to them free of charge. (As long as I'm still alive...)
