Sextet for Baritone Saxophone and Strings
SEXTET for baritone saxophone and string quintet or string ensemble.
It sometimes happens that you compose a work,
only to find out that when the piece is finished,
the ensemble for which it was composed no longer exists
That's what happened with this piece.
From that moment on, the music just collects dust and no memories.
Looking back on it some 22 years later, I rendered it into a new version for this publication.
I cleared up passages and brought more unity to the four movements. I also shortened the work a lot.
Hopfully someone will dust off the dust to create new memories.
