Fuchsia is a short piano piece that is ideal for improving the independence of the left and the right hand  because the main melody switches between them. This composition begins as a question that answers itself. The middle section moves to a climax in a short time, returning to another question. At this point, the revival of the theme returns in the high register with some arpeggios who generate the typical sparkle in the sound and remind me of the striking color shade of fuchsia.

Fuchsia is een kort pianostukje dat uiterst geschikt is om de onafhankelijkheid van de dynamiek in linkerhand en rechterhand te oefenen zodat het verschil tussen de melodie en het begeleidingspatroon zich helder kan onderscheiden in beide handen. Als het ware begint het stuk als een vraag die zichzelf beantwoordt. In het middendeel wordt in korte tijd naar een climax gegaan die terugkeert naar opnieuw een vraag. Hierna komt de herneming van het hoofdthema in het hoge register met enkele arpeggio’s. De typische sprankel die hierdoor in de klank ontstaat deed mij denken aan de opvallende markante kleurtint van fuchsia.
