Duet for alto saxophone and piano, concert piece, level 4-5
Duet for Alto saxophone & Piano is a piece in the tradition of the classical sonata. There are three movements in thr tempos: quick - slow - fast.
Under stress is the first movement. Like the title says is this a stressful so a fairly rhythmic part. You can certainly hear some influences of rockmusic.
End of your dreams, the second part, is an easy going habanera. The melody is melanchlic and there are some Latin elements.
Deliverance is the last movement. This one is as playful as it is joyful. The idiom here is quite classical and traditional.
