Virtuoso polka for Bb Clarinet, Bb Trumpet and Baritone horn or Euphonium
To lend a special sparkle to the Oktoberfest of Royal Fanfare Apollo Goedereede (The Netherlands) on October 19, 2024, the ad hoc ensemble 'Holz und Blech Inferno' was formed, consisting of professional musicians Bas Duister (trumpet), Peter Habraken (clarinet), and René Mulders (euphonium). In addition to a number of arrangements, Peter Habraken wrote no fewer than four compositions for this combination. Sonnema-Polka is the first to be published. It is particularly suitable for professional musicians, conservatory students, and ambitious amateur musicians who want to sink their teeth into a challenging piece of folk music with a modern twist.
