Echoes of Industry (the Birth of Brass)

“Echoes of Industry” tells the musical story of the origins of the
Zuilens Fanfare Corps. The title refers to the sounds that once
resounded in the steelworks of Zuilen - a time when steel was the heart
of the community. The echoes of that industrial activity can be heard in
this music, as a reminder of the hard work and craftsmanship of a
bygone era. The instruments bring to life the sounds of forging, the
rhythm of machinery and the power of metal, providing a bridge to the
birth of the brass band (fanfare). Initially simple and sustained by
togetherness. Gradually, this grows into the powerful, modern sound
of today's brass band (fanfare).
