Program Notes
Suite for two guitars
Inspired by the Schubert- project of the great guitarists Izhar Elias and Fernando Cordas, I wrote this suite and dedicated it to them. The Schubert- song cited in this suite begins with the words Am Brunnen, At the Fountain. The suite consists of a short prologue, a somewhat longer second part and a short epilogue. Emotionally charged passages alternate with calmer ones.
