comical orchestral work featuring the conductor
This is a comical orchestral work featuring a conductor that is not aware of the power of his baton - he stroll casually onto the stage acting as though he is unaware of the orchestra behind him. He notices the baton and picks it up out of curiousity, and the orchestra responds to him picking up the baton by playing a short passage. Intrigued he pulls the baton up to his ear as if the noise is coming from it - this cuts off the orchestra. The piec proceeds with the conductor doing various things with the baton and the orchestra responding with noises and different textures based on his movement. Eventually it unfolds into a fun and comedic piece and can be really funny if the conductor really makes a show out of it.
