Cheerfull trio for Clarinet (Bb and A), Bassoon and Piano
Cheerfull trio in 4 movements for Bb-Clarinet (alternating A-Clarinet), Bassoon and Piano.
Duration: ±12 minutes
1. Andante - Allegro
After a dramatic opening, a cheerfull thema reveals, alternating 4/4 and 7/8 bars.
2. Sicilienne
A slow, warm theme, introduced by the bassoon, is alternated by a more lively 5/8 beat.
3. Scherzo
A mechanical and rythmic movement
4. Minuetto with variations
An ancient style minuetto, but in 7/8 beat, is followed by both lyrical and virtuoso variations.
