Suite for concert band
This suite consists of three dances: a pasodoble, a waltz and a samba.
The waltz and the samba were composed in 2023 on behalf of the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy.
In the original commissioned version this music had a special instrumentation: it was written for concert band without saxophones, trumpets and trombones, because it was composed for a special occasion when part of the orchestra was abroad. For this edition, the composer has created a brand-new version for full concert band and added a pasodoble to complete the suite.

The world premiere took place on July 22, 2025, at the Salle de Manège in Hesdin, France, by the Dutch Symphonic Wind Orchestra conducted by Ruud Welle.
