Léon Boëlmann was (1862 - 1897) was an organ player and composer from France, mainly known for his work Suite Gothique, written in 1895 when he was cantor of the Église Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in Paris. This work is still often performed. This arrangement is for fanfare orchestra and explores the complete range and technical possibilities of this type of orchestra.
