for two flutes
A short piece for two flutes, Solace was written for the Women's Missionary Society of the Brethren Church and premiered in the spring of 2017 at a regional meeting. While listed as intermediate difficulty, there is a key change, some dissonant intervals (2nds), and flute 2 should flutter-tongue. A great instructional piece for blossoming performers and perfect for use as prelude, postlude, or special music during liturgy.
The downloadable file purchased contains a performer's score (both parts) and individual parts in two keys, the original (G-flat) and an easier key (G); on the score, staves of rests are hidden to save paper and ink.
