Solo Flute
Desert Winds was composed in honor of the Grand Canyon, Arizona, US, and is in the style of the Native American Flute. It is in two movements: 1. Kokopelli A mythical character which is a legend to Native Americans in the desert Southwest. He is usually depicted playing his flute while dancing. 2. Gecko. A lizard common to the desert Southwest who often accompanies Kokopelli.
