The Czárdás is a traditional Hungarian folk dance, the name is derived from csárda, an old Hungarian term for a pub or restaurant. It originated in Hungary and was popularized by music groups in Hungary and the neighboring countries of Slovenia, Burgenland, Croatia, Transylvania, Slovakia, Moravia, and Bulgaria.
