This piece is commissioned by Ensemble Leporello with the aid of the Flemish Government for the World Expo Zaragossa in 2008.
The sonata is dedicated to Roland Peelman and the entire title is 7th Sonata 'The Wider World of Water'
The 7th sonata 'The Wider World of Water' is composed as a musical accompaniment to a monolgue written for the stage by Dirk Opstaele.
