Preces and Responses for Evensong by Katy Lavinia Cooper
This setting was first written for the Chapel Choir of the University of Glasgow. The service fell on the Feast of St. Perpetua, St. Felicitas, and their Companions (Tuesday 7 February, 2017). The setting of the Lord's Prayer uses extracts from the melody of a sequence associated with St Perpetua - Scalam ad caelos by Notcerus Balbulus (also known as 'Notker the Stammerer', 'Notker the Poet' or 'Notker of Saint Gall').
