Biography
An all-terrain clarinetist, Samuel Doguet explores classical, contemporary, electronic and improvised repertoires. As a bass clarinet player, he participates in ensembles Transfiguré and Folia Quartet while playing in classical and romantic chamber music groups.
Driven by an interest in creation, he collaborates with the Eric Fisher Acoustic 4tet, Big Up Project of Nils Bull as well as in electronic experimentation projects such as Classico Traquenard and Space Clignancourt.
His compositions are inspired by contemporary and electronic music; they seek to create a universe mixing humor, energy and great freedom of interpretation.
A graduate of the Tours and Gennevilliers conservatories and the Pôle Supérieur de Musique in Dijon, he now teaches clarinet in various institutions.
