Yite Chang is a Taiwanese guitarist who divides her time between Taichung, Paris and Basel. On stage since a young age and curious to develop more possibilities of expression with her instrument, her work encompasses solo performances, Lieder accompaniments, contemporary music, chamber music and guitar arrangements.

She finds inspiration in a wide range of art forms, including literature, philosophy, film, visual arts and nature.

Her journey in the world of melody formally began in 2019, when she created her first Lied duet “Duo Ménure”, alongside French soprano Gladys Roupsard. 

From 2022 to 2024, she will deepen this specialization by choosing the Liedgestaltung as a minor subject in his Master's degree, under the direction of Jan Schultsz at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel, Switzerland. 

At the same time, she launched her podcast “Drink a little Lie with me”, a show dedicated to exploring melodies from various cultures. 

Since then, Yite has dedicated herself to numerous collaborations, creating arrangements for voice and guitar, thus sharing her passion for this art.
