Biography
Sandro Bucciarelli (1989) was born in Soleuvre in Luxembourg and at a young age started to play the saxophone. He studied at the Frankfurt Conservatory and the Musicube Academy Bonn. Sandro is a busy man and studied saxophone with Paul Origer, Andreas Steffens, Nadine Kauffmann en Achim Rinke-Bachmann, conducting and orchestration with Alain Crépin and composition and counterpoint with Tilo Medek, Roland Wiltgen and Rüdiger Blömer.
He followed masterclasses with Jan van der Roost, Arno Bornkamp, Alain Crépin and Otto Schwarz.
Sandro won several prizes as a saxophone player among which the 1st prize ‘with distinction’ in Rheinland-Pfalz, 1st prize ‘with great distinction’ at the concours in Födekam St.Vith and the gold medal at the Prix Sacem.
He is in high demand as a teacher, conductor and composer.
