New World Music for Concert Band
Native Land for young concert band is a tribute to the indigenous peoples of the Great Lakes region of North America. Young Bands will enjoy the excitement this piece brings through the tribal percussion statements and the challenges of dynamic contrasts for the entire ensemble. All sections of the band are featured with melodic passages that have comfortable rhythms, ranges and articulations. This piece offers a chance to instruct Dal Segno and Coda road mapping and also has opportunities for creative percussion staging that will grab your audience and hang onto them until the end!
