Program Notes
work for string quintet and flute
Sleepless is a chamber work for string quartet and flute. It was inspired by a year that I was struggling with insomnia and the music reflects the wanderings of the mind during sleepless nights. The last movement finally brings peace and rest with a quiet ending fading into nothing.
