Windband, Epic, Spectacular, Challenge
Nunc aut Nunquam (Now or Never) is the motto of the Dutch Special Forces (Korps Commando Troepen). This composition, for windband + keyboard and bassguitar, was commissioned by the Royal Netherlands Army for the occasion of 75 year KCT.
Premiered by the KMKJWF olv.Tijmen Botma.
I tried to capture the spirit of the special forces in this epic, spectacular, impressive work.

Nunc aut Nuquam (Nu of Nooit) is de lijfspreuk van het Korps Commando Troepen.
Ik schreef dit stuk in opdracht van de Koninklijke Landmacht ter gelegenheid van het 75 jarig bestaan van het KCT. De KMKJWF olv. Tijmen Botma verzorgde de premiere.
In dit epische, spectaculaire, indrukwekkende werk heb ik geprobeerd de 'spirit van de commando' te verklanken.
Bezetting: harmonie + keyboard en basgitaar.
