Composed for SATB a cappella chorus with some divisi
With all the conflict and suffering happening in today's world I wanted to set a poem about peace and came across this beautiful poem by Sara Teasdale. The music is very tonal and I have used mostly mixolydian mode for the weaving melodies to create a sense of stillness and mystery.
