Tatiana Mikova is a multi-award-winning Czech classical and film music composer based in London. She has composed concert works for symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, and solo instruments, alongside numerous film scores. Gaining international acclaim for her "Spanish Serenade" and "Fantasia on Moravian Themes" (performed by the renowned Czech Nonet), Mikova's music has been featured on Performance Today (American Public Media), Classical California KUSC/Los Angeles, KDFC/San Francisco, and other stations worldwide.
After winning a Gold Medal at the Global Music Awards (USA) in 2019 for two nonets, her orchestral piece "Sinfonietta for Orchestra" won 2nd prize at the IV. Best European Composer competition in Austria. Following its premiere in New York in 2021, her String Quartet "In Modo Lidico" was performed by the Lehner Quartet at Carnegie Hall, USA in 2024.

As a highly versatile film music composer and orchestrator, Mikova has written numerous scores for feature films, shorts, and documentaries in a wide variety of styles and instrumentations. Her film scores have received over 30 international awards and nominations, including Best Score at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Best Score at the New York Film Awards, Best Composer at the Toronto Film Magazine Fest, Best Score at the Oniros Film Awards in New York, Masters of Cinema in Italy, Rome International Movie Awards, EdiPlay International Film Festival in France and Singapore, and Best Music at the Horror Film Awards in New York.

Her film music has been performed by The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and recorded at the iconic Smecky Music Studios with conductors Mario Klemens, Leos Svarovsky, and Jan Chalupecky.
Mikova's film music scores were featured in the "100 Women Film Composers" Spotify playlist, and British film critic Mark Kermode included her music in the radio program "Classical Music for Modern Life."

Mikova graduated with a Master’s degree in Music Composition for Film and Television from the London College of Music, University of West London.
Mikova further enriched her education through interdisciplinary research, including directing a short film about deaf musicians, and completed online courses in opera, musique concrète, and experimental sound at Harvard and Columbia University.
