Biografie

Arturo Gervasoni is an Argentinian composer living in France. A graduate of the National University of Córdoba, he holds a doctorate in Musicology from the University of Rennes.

His works, sequential and sometimes discursive, are largely inspired by literature and philosophy, drawing on authors such as Borges, Manguel, and Danto. His work is performed and broadcast worldwide by renowned artists and ensembles including Pablo Marquez, Isabel Soccoia, Roberto Aussel, North/south Consonance, KNM, Radio France, and Libertador San Martín. His works are published by Éditions Billaudot, Fougeray, Babelscore, and Mfp.

Arturo teaches composition at the Nantes Regional Conservatory (CRR) and the Pôle Supérieur Bretagne-Pays de la Loire, as well as writing, analysis, composition, and computer music at the Saint-Nazaire Regional Conservatory (CRD).
