Francis Cromphout, author-composer, singer, saxophonist. As an author he has published two novels and several poetry collections. He set some of his poems to music. He studied music theory and saxophone at the Ghent Music Conservatory, piano and also singing, composition and arrangement at a Ghent Music Academy. He played with the Latin-Jazz group "Friends" (later "Café con Leche") with which he performed at the Middelheim Jazz Festival, among others. Frontman and musical director of "Cuisine Cajun", which performed at various festivals in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. CD "Le Grand Dérangement". Did a Tour de Chant with chansons by Boris Vian: "En aVian la Zizique".  Plays sax and sings Latin American songs, French chansons and also his own songs with "Barrio Latino". CD "De Nacht Betrapt" with 12 own songs, with Dick van der Harst, Jurriaan Cosman, Hein Mandos among others.

Francis Cromphout, auteur-componist, zanger, saxofonist. Als auteur heeft hij twee romans en verschillende dichtbundels gepubliceerd. Hij toonzette bepaalde van zijn gedichten. Hij studeerde muziektheorie en saxofoon aan het Gents Muziekconservatorium, piano, zang , compositie en arrangement aan een Gentse Muziekacademie. Hij speelde met de Latin-Jazz groep “Friends” (later “Café con Leche”) waarmee hij onder andere optrad op het Middelheim Jazzfestival. Frontman en muzikale leider van “Cuisine Cajun”, welke optrad op diverse festivals in België, Nederland en Duitsland. CD “Le Grand Dérangement”.
